Shara Bullet draws Gracie family star for RAF Moscow debut

Shara Bullet will make his RAF Moscow debut against Neiman Gracie on September 5 at Russia's VTB Arena, the promotion announced Monday. The bout pits two grapplers with extensive experience outside the cage: Bullet, also known as Shara Magomedov, is an up-and-coming UFC middleweight contender, while Gracie is a veteran submission specialist and BJJ competitor.
Bullet arrives as a rising prospect with a 17-1 MMA record, including a 6-1 UFC mark. He has won his last two octagon bouts, securing decision victories over Michel Pereira and Marc-Andre Barriault. Beyond MMA, Magomedov has participated in high-level grappling exhibitions under the Hype FC banner, competing against Edson Barboza and Arman Tsarukyan in un-scored matches.
Gracie, 37, competes in a major U.S.-backed promotion for the first time since his 2024 PFL welterweight tournament loss to Magomed Umalatov. The Gracie family representative holds a 13-6 MMA record and was a former Bellator title contender, falling to champion Rory MacDonald in 2019. Like much of his renowned grappling lineage, Gracie has established himself as a formidable BJJ competitor across top tournaments. Both fighters step onto RAF mats for the first time.
