UFC Sacramento main and co-main events official, several new fights announced

The UFC is returning to Sacramento on Saturday, August 22, at the Golden 1 Center, with a full card headlined by two newly confirmed matchups and several supporting bouts.

Anthony "Fluffy" Hernandez faces Gregory "Robocop" Rodrigues in the main event at middleweight over five rounds. Hernandez is seeking to return to the win column after a loss to Sean Strickland, while Rodrigues arrives on a three-fight winning streak capped by a knockout victory over Brunno Fereira.

In the co-main event, Reinier de Ridder makes his light heavyweight debut against Roman Dolidze. The division shift comes after back-to-back middleweight losses to Brendan Allen and Caio Borralho, marking an attempt to find fresh footing at 205 pounds.

The card also features several other notable additions: heavyweight Serghei Spivac returns to face knockout artist Vitor Petrino, while Kennedy Nzechukwu takes on Shamil Gaziev at heavyweight. The women's strawweight division is represented by two bouts—Carli Judice against Jeisla Chaves and Shanelle Dyer versus Elise Ride. At middleweight, Contender Series veteran Wes Schultz returns against Jackson McVey.

The entire event will stream live on Paramount+, with additional fights expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
