Teammates Jean Silva and Caio Borralho disagree on the outcome of the upcoming UFC 330 welterweight title fight between Ian Garry and Islam Makhachev scheduled for August 15 in Philadelphia.

Silva is backing Garry to upset the heavily favored champion. "I like Ian Garry, I prefer Ian Garry," Silva said in a recent interview, though he acknowledged the difficulty of supporting the Irishman given that Garry defeated Silva's Fighting Nerds teammate Carlos Prates last year. Borralho visibly disagreed with Silva's prediction during the discussion.

Garry enters as an unlikely challenger at 17-1, holding nine UFC victories with his only setback coming against Shavkat Rakhmonov, currently sidelined with injury. The former Cage Warriors champion has defeated notable opponents including Belal Muhammad, Geoff Neal, and Neil Magny.

Makhachev remains the betting favorite, riding a 16-fight winning streak tied with Anderson Silva for the longest active streak in UFC history.
