Damian Pinas continued his rise through the middleweight ranks with a lightning-quick finish of Andrey Pulyaev. Just 75 seconds into the bout, Pinas landed a flush right uppercut that sent Pulyaev crashing to the mat and improved his record to 11-1. Following his victory, Pinas immediately called for a matchup against a top-10 opponent.
Imanol Rodriguez remained unbeaten at 8-0 after stopping Alden Coria in the first round. Rodriguez used his superior hand speed early before connecting with a perfectly-timed front kick to the body that dropped Coria and prompted referee stoppage at 3:11.
