Welterweight Meng Ding (35-10, 0-1 UFC) made his UFC debut against undefeated Cameron Nelson (7-1, 0-0 UFC) in a closely contested three-rounder. Nelson controlled the fight on the ground across all three rounds, securing takedowns and working top control in Rounds 1 and 2 to bank two 10-9 rounds. Ding rallied in Round 3 with improved striking and takedown defense, forcing Nelson to work for a final takedown in the last minute, but it came too late. Referee Matt Wynne oversaw the action. All three judges scored the bout 29-28 in Nelson's favor, awarding the Niagara Top Team fighter a clean unanimous decision in his promotional debut.
**Julia Polastri vs. Jingnan Xiong**
