DWCS Season 10, Week 1 results: 2 blistering knockouts highlight first show as 4 new fighters join UFC roster

The Dana White Contender Series season 10 kicked off with mixed results as four fighters earned UFC contracts following the first week of competition. Flyweight prospect Bilal Hasan and heavyweight Anthony Wint delivered the evening's most explosive moments with blistering knockout victories, while Joseph Kropschot and Thomas Pagliarulo also impressed enough to secure roster spots.

Hasan, who entered as the biggest favorite in Contender Series history at -5000 odds, lived up to the astronomical expectations. Facing Mridul Saikia, Hasan threw a devastating right hand just 45 seconds into the opening round that twisted his opponent's head around. Saikia fell to the canvas and Hasan pounced with follow-up strikes until referee Herb Dean halted the fight. Hasan celebrated with a moon walk in the cage.

Wint made an equally dominant statement against Matt Adams, reversing a takedown attempt and immediately pinning Adams to the mat. The former New York Jet unloaded hammer fists from top position until Herb Dean intervened at 34 seconds of round one.

In the night's other decisions, Pagliarulo methodically wore down Ananias Mulumba through superior wrestling and ground control, earning a third-round TKO via ground strikes at 4:24. Kropschot edged Jon Kunneman in a competitive middleweight affair, nearly finishing with a late armbar attempt but settling for a unanimous decision as the clock ran out.
