UFC fighter Brandon Royval’s five-year commitment outside the Octagon

Brandon Royval has dedicated five years to volunteer work at the Denver Dream Center, a non-profit organization serving youth from low-income backgrounds seeking to rebuild their lives. The UFC flyweight has maintained consistent involvement with the centre, picking up kids from local under-resourced areas, providing meals, building relationships, and checking in on their progress over time. Royval expressed pride in watching many of the children he met in middle or high school grow into young adults and learn to handle adversity.

Pastor Bryan Sederwall, who works at the Denver Dream Center, confirmed Royval's dedication, noting that the fighter honours his commitments to the kids regardless of upcoming fights. This consistency has earned respect from the organization and the community it serves.

Royval (17–9) is scheduled to face Lone'er Kavanagh in a flyweight bout at UFC 329 on Saturday, July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The matchup marks an opportunity for Royval to rebound from consecutive losses to Joshua Van and Manel Kape. Kavanagh (10–1) arrives with momentum following a unanimous decision victory over former champion Brandon Moreno, which bounced him back from his first professional defeat.
