UFC Shanghai weigh-in results: Both fighters miss weight for matchup in rare mishap

Three fighters missed weight at the UFC Shanghai weigh-ins on Friday, though the event proceeded with its full 26-fighter lineup and the main event remained intact. Strawweights Xiong Jingnan and Julia Polastri both came in over the limit for their preliminary bout—Xiong at 117 pounds (1 pound over) and Polastri at 118.5 pounds (2.5 over)—but neither was penalized and their fight will proceed as a catchweight.
