UFC Belgrade weigh-in results: 28 fighters make weight
The UFC's inaugural event in Serbia is officially cleared for action following Friday's weigh-ins in Belgrade. All 28 fighters competing across the 14-bout card made their contracted weights without incident, setting the stage for Saturday's card on Paramount+.
The main event pits Serbian welterweight Uros Medic against veteran Daniel Rodriguez in a five-round headliner. Medic, 13–3 overall and 7–3 in the UFC, weighed exactly 171 pounds and arrives on a three-fight finishing streak that includes knockout wins over Geoff Neal, Muslim Salikhov, and Gilbert Urbina. The 39-year-old Rodriguez, who posted a 20–5 pro record, also hit 171 pounds on the nose. A 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu-trained fighter, Rodriguez is riding his own three-fight win streak capped by a submission of Santiago Ponzinibbio and recent decisions over Kevin Holland and Alex Morono. Both this and Rodriguez's main-event slot mark career firsts.
Former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz also made weight for his bout, joining the rest of the 26-fighter undercard in meeting their marks. UFC Belgrade broadcasts live on Paramount+ on Saturday, with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. ET and the main card starting at 1 p.m. ET.
