After UFC White House win, Bo Nickal to face recent NCAA champ at RAF 12
Bo Nickal will face 2026 NCAA national champion wrestler Max McEnelly at RAF 12 in Cleveland on August 22, the wrestling organization announced. The matchup comes just days after Nickal's quick finish of Kyle Daukaus at UFC White House, maintaining momentum for the highly touted prospect.
Nickal, a three-time NCAA national champion at Penn State University, has largely lived up to his status as one of recent MMA's most celebrated prospects. He holds a 9-1 professional record with a 6-1 UFC mark, finishing all but one of his octagon victories inside the distance. His only UFC decision came against Jacob Cardenas at RAF 1; a planned bout with Yoel Romero was cancelled when "Soldier of God" missed weight.
McEnelly brings elite collegiate wrestling credentials to the matchup. An All-American as a freshman at the University of Minnesota, he won a national title at 184 pounds in his sophomore year. The RAF 12 event in Cleveland will stream exclusively on Fox Nation and also features a showdown between ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and current UFC competitor Joaquin Buckley.
