DWCS Season 10, Week 5 results: Four more contracts awarded, with Dana White comparing one signee to Jon Jones

The fifth week of Contender Series Season 10 took place Tuesday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, with four fighters earning UFC contracts following impressive performances across the five-bout card.

The night's most notable performance came in the main event, where undefeated prospect Quentin Pasley, just 24 years old, overwhelmed Arlind Berisha with dominant grappling and striking. After securing a takedown, Pasley controlled the fight with vicious ground-and-pound elbows that stopped Berisha in the first round. Dana White was sufficiently impressed to award Pasley a UFC contract and draw a comparison to Jon Jones—high praise for the prospect.

Isaac Moreno, an undefeated fighter entering the Contender Series, earned his contract by surviving a stern test from Reginaldo Junior, who repeatedly threatened submissions late in their bout before Moreno prevailed by decision. White sweetened the deal by celebrating Moreno's personal news: the fighter announced he was getting married hours after his victory, and White presented him with his UFC contract as a wedding gift.

Martin Kozak, the night's betting favorite, dominated Christian Echols despite an illegal punch in the first round that gave Echols temporary reprieve. Kozak's size advantage proved decisive as he wore down Echols with strikes and body shots, earning his contract with a second-round TKO. Christian Natividad, brother of former UFC fighter Kevin Natividad, also made the grade, stopping Colton Loud with powerful body shots in the opening round.

Apollo Gomes was the night's only contracted fighter not to earn a deal. Despite surviving two knockdowns against Kwon Wonil in the opening round and out-landing him thereafter to win by decision, White told Gomes to gain more experience before applying again.
