UFC 332 fight card adds undefeated welterweight on short notice

Undefeated welterweight Jacobe Smith will make a short-notice appearance at UFC 332 on Saturday in Salt Lake City, squaring off against newcomer Bruce Whitehead in a bout announced Monday.
Smith (12-0) earned his UFC contract via Dana White's Contender Series in 2024 and has maintained a perfect record inside the octagon, compiling three consecutive wins—all finishing before the final bell. The 25-year-old has won nine of his 12 professional bouts via knockout, including a first-round stoppage of Josiah Harrell at UFC Houston this past February.
Whitehead (8-2) has spent his entire career competing for Texas-based Fury FC. He brings a two-fight winning streak into the bout and has won four of his past five outings. He is making a quick turnaround after scoring a 48-second TKO over Ali Abouzalam on September 20.
The welterweight clash will be part of a card headlined by the vacant women's flyweight title bout between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong.
