Charles Oliveira-Diego Lopes BMF title fight headlines UFC 335
The UFC announced a stacked year-end card for December 12 in Las Vegas. UFC 335 will be headlined by Charles Oliveira defending his BMF title against Diego Lopes. Oliveira (37-11, 1 NC in UFC record), who claimed the honorific crown at UFC 326 by beating Max Holloway on all scorecards, will be making his return after submitting Mateusz Gamrot via face crank at UFC Fight Night 261 in October 2025. Lopes (28-8 overall, 7-3 in UFC) bounced back from a one-sided decision loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 325 by scoring a second-round knockout of Steve Garcia at a recent UFC event. The BMF belt carries prestige among fans as the "Baddest Motherf***er" in the sport, rewarding fighting spirit rather than championship lineage.
The same card will feature Alex Pereira moving up to heavyweight to face Sergei Pavlovich. Pereira (13-4, 10-3 UFC), a two-division title holder, failed in his bid to become a three-division champion when he lost to Ciryl Gane at UFC White House in June. Pavlovich (21-3, 9-3 UFC) has been impressive recently, disposing of Tallison Teixeira in just 39 seconds at UFC Macau. The winner of that bout will be positioned near a heavyweight title shot. UFC 335 will also feature a middleweight clash between rising contenders Joe Pyfer and Bo Nickal.
