Super RIZIN 5 results: Razhabali Shaidulloev tops A.J. McKee to win RIZIN, PFL titles; Mikuru Asakura knocks out Shinya Aoki

Razhabali Shaidulloev cemented his status as one of featherweight MMA's elite prospects by capturing both the RIZIN and PFL featherweight titles in a dominant performance against A.J. McKee at Super RIZIN 5 on Thursday in Osaka, Japan. Fighting before nearly 49,000 fans at the Kyosera Dome, the undefeated Shaidulloev controlled McKee across three rounds, earning a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) to improve to 19-0 and remain perfect as a professional.
Shaidulloev's path to victory was methodical despite an early scare. McKee rocked him in the opening moments, but Shaidulloev quickly recovered with a takedown and weathered a choke attempt before reasserting control through positional grappling. In round two, Shaidulloev turned up the aggression, hurting McKee with striking combinations and a body kick before dominating ground-and-pound exchanges. With McKee needing a finish in the third—the first time Shaidulloev had gone that deep in a fight—the American fired off knees but was repeatedly returned to the canvas, unable to generate meaningful offense in his desperation.
In the co-main event, Mikuru Asakura delivered a violent reminder of his striking prowess, knocking out veteran Shinya Aoki in the first round at 2:39. Aoki, returning to RIZIN after 11 years away, initially seized momentum by taking Asakura's back and threatening a rear-naked choke, but a costly armbar attempt left him vulnerable to relentless head strikes that forced the referee to intervene.
