UFC 332 live blog: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott

Payton Talbott def. Deiveson Figueiredo via first-round TKO (strikes) (2:09)

Talbott's performance was devastating and swift. Early in Round 1, his straight right hand stunned Figueiredo and dictated the action. Though Figueiredo tried a body lock to survive, Talbott broke free and landed several more damaging blows. Referee Jason Herzog saw enough and halted the fight less than two and a half minutes in. Talbott, now 12-1, used the victory to call out Sean O'Malley, declaring he had already defeated two champions back-to-back and wanted another. The loss was the latest setback for 38-year-old Figueiredo, who has now fallen in his past two fights and four of his last five overall.
