Undefeated UFC fighter Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev responds to MrBeast lookalike claims

Undefeated UFC fighter Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev has weighed in on the viral online comparisons between himself and YouTube sensation MrBeast, dismissing the likeness as overblown. Yakhyaev, a Turkish light heavyweight competing in the UFC, admitted he was unfamiliar with MrBeast—the online persona of Jimmy Donaldson—until fans began drawing parallels following his knockout victory over Raffael Cerqueira at UFC Qatar last November.

After researching the YouTuber, Yakhyaev does not believe the comparisons hold merit. Speaking with Red Corner MMA, he lightheartedly suggested that MrBeast himself would benefit from grooming changes, stating: "I don't think I look like him. People just imagine things. He needs to remove his mustache, I think." Yakhyaev made clear he is not enjoying the comparisons and views them as fan imagination rather than genuine resemblance.

Yakhyaev has built an impressive record in the UFC with nine finishes across ten career victories. His three UFC bouts have been particularly striking—he has accumulated just 3 minutes and 33 seconds of combined fight time, advancing beyond the opening round only twice. The unbeaten fighter's finishing prowess and rapid dispatches of opponents have earned him recognition, though online observers have proven more interested in his perceived facial similarity to a digital content creator.
