Alexa Grasso's demolition of Maycee Barber at UFC Seattle claims the No. 1 spot. Grasso, seeking a return to title contention after a loss to Natalia Silva, faced Barber in a rematch of their 2021 unanimous decision bout—but this time, Grasso had finishing intentions. Midway through the first round, Grasso caught Barber with a sharp left hand, immediately followed by a devastating right cross that twisted Barber's body as she crumpled to the canvas. Grasso capitalized by locking a rear-naked choke, though replays suggested Barber was already unconscious from the punch. Carlos Ulberg's unlikely title victory at UFC 327 ranks second. After Alex Pereira vacated the light heavyweight belt to move to heavyweight, Ulberg challenged former champion Jiri Prochazka for the vacant crown. Disaster struck early when Ulberg suffered a torn ACL in the opening round, leaving him barely able to stand. Trapped on his back in the guard, Peinado unleashed an old-school double punch that somehow connected cleanly on Gonzales. After reversing position to mount, Peinado finished Gonzales with another punch just 49 seconds into round one. While such unorthodox exchanges rarely occur at the sport's highest levels, the shocking finish exemplified the unpredictability that makes MMA compelling.
