Jan Blachowicz shows off gnarly cut after UFC Belgrade loss
Jan Blachowicz displayed the physical toll of combat after his UFC Belgrade co-headliner loss to Navajo Stirling, sharing social media images of a gnarly facial cut sustained during the bout. Stirling dropped the former light heavyweight champion with a powerful strike early in the fight, then opened up the cut with ground-and-pound strikes before the referee stopped the action. Blachowicz, characteristically stoic, captioned his injury photos with "It is what it is. Another one for the collection," acknowledging the battle scar with a veteran's perspective.
The loss marks the fifth consecutive fight without a victory for the Polish 205-pounder. His last win came in May 2022 against Aleksandar Rakic. Since then, Blachowicz has struggled against elite competition, posting draws with Magomed Ankalaev and Bogdan Guskov while falling to decision defeats against former UFC champion Alex Pereira and current light heavyweight titleholder Carlos Ulberg. The extended winless streak puts Blachowicz's future in the division in question as the UFC light heavyweight division continues to evolve at the top.
