Anything But Fighting: Payton Talbott answers random questions | Part 4

Payton Talbott, the fast-rising UFC bantamweight, sat down with MMA Fighting to discuss life beyond the Octagon—his budding DJ career, anime preferences including Serial Experiments Lain, favorite video games, and reflections on the past ten months. The 11-1 fighter from Reno, Nevada, is preparing for a significant step up in competition at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City, where he will face former two-division champion and Olympic gold medalist Deiveson Figueiredo in the card's co-main event. Talbott's stock has risen considerably following his December victory over Henry Cejudo at UFC 323, a win that demonstrated his ability to compete against elite-level opposition. The upcoming bout against Figueiredo will test whether the rising bantamweight can maintain his momentum against a fighter who previously held titles at a lower weight class.
