Invicta FC, Karate Combat champ Elisandra Ferreira aims to collect another belt in PFL

Elisandra Ferreira is making her PFL debut with championship aspirations already in mind. The Brazilian, who holds titles from both Invicta FC and Karate Combat, faces undefeated Nigerian prospect Juliet Ukah at PFL Nigeria this Saturday in Lagos.

Ferreira, 28, has built an impressive resume across multiple organizations. She captured her first belt—the Nação Cyborg atomweight title—in 2021, then moved through Invicta FC where she won and defended the atomweight championship before moving up to 115 pounds to claim a Karate Combat title. Despite a decision loss in Canada early in her career, Ferreira has used setbacks as motivation to elevate her game.

Training alongside two-time PFL champion Larissa Pacheco has sharpened Ferreira's striking, an evolution she credits to competing under Karate Combat rules. "Every promotion I enter I'm looking to become champion," Ferreira said. "I want to walk away with a story." Ukah arrives undefeated at 9-0, with most of her wins coming via decision. Ferreira's track record of chasing titles across promotions positions her well for a long-term run in the PFL, where the strawweight division's inaugural championship belt remains to be awarded. A statement win over an undefeated fighter could accelerate her timeline to a title shot.
