Charges dropped against Logan Storley after arrest in Key West in May
Charges against former PFL fighter Logan Storley have been dismissed following his May arrest in Key West, Florida on sexual assault allegations. Monroe County prosecutors closed the case and canceled the scheduled August 3 court hearing after Storley completed a pretrial diversion program, clearing him of all charges.
Storley's legal team, led by attorney David Martin, released a statement expressing satisfaction with the resolution. "We are pleased that the criminal case involving Logan Storley has been resolved through a pretrial diversion program, after which the State has agreed to dismiss the charges," Martin said. The statement emphasized the importance of due process and the presumption of innocence, thanking those who avoided rushing to judgment. "Logan is committed to becoming the best version of himself and looks forward to focusing on his family, his career, and the opportunities that lie ahead."
Storley, a former University of Minnesota wrestling standout, had been arrested and held on $50,000 bond. The original arrest stemmed from allegations that he sexually battered a woman outside a bar after pursuing her in a nightclub and following her into an alley.
The 30-year-old transitioned from college wrestling to MMA, initially building a strong record in Bellator before joining the PFL. His most recent fight was a headlining bout in his home state of South Dakota, which proved to be his final appearance with the promotion. With the charges now resolved, Storley's path to returning to professional competition is cleared.
