PFL, Rizin make MMA history with double title fight at Super Rizin 5
PFL and Rizin have announced a landmark cross-promotional championship bout for Super Rizin 5 on September 10 at Kyosera Dome in Osaka, Japan. In what both organizations are calling an unprecedented move, Rajabali Shaidullaev will defend his Rizin featherweight title against A.J. McKee, with the PFL featherweight championship also on the line in a single contest.
Shaidullaev (19-0), the undefeated Kyrgyz champion, has finished all 19 of his professional wins, 13 by first-round stoppage. He has won and defended his Rizin title three times in less than a year. McKee (25-2) brings a three-fight winning streak into the matchup. Rizin CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara emphasized the historic nature of the bout in a statement, noting that while fighters have previously challenged for another organization's championship, placing both promotional titles on the line in a single fight represents uncharted territory.
The rest of the Super Rizin 5 card includes:

Ren Hiramoto vs. Karshyga Dautbek
Yutaka Saito vs. Ren Sugiyama
